It is that time of year, and we are looking forward to the highly anticipated event - Cathedral Cajun Countdown (formerly Crawfish Countdown)! Please plan to join us for the 40th year of spring fundraising fun with delicious boiled shrimp, jambalaya, games, and the chance to win $5,000. All this awaits you on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM with LIVE music by Drew David (’06) and Will Carter (’05).
This year we are offering a free dress day to all Cathedral students who sell a ticket to Cajun Countdown! Only one ticket per family needs to be sold for all children in the family to receive free dress day. There is a blank on each ticket for students’ names. Make sure to write the students’ names on the ticket for them to get credit! Free dress day will be Friday, May 10, 2024.
Tickets are $120 which admits TWO PEOPLE. Second chance insurance is available for an additional $30. Second chance insurance allows your ticket, if drawn within the first 100 tickets, to be placed back into the drawing for a second chance at the grand prize. Please return your ticket with payment and remember to mark on your ticket if you would like to split or chance it all. Split or chance it all means if the final four tickets are all marked SPLIT, the grand prize will be split between those final four. If any of the final four tickets are marked CHANCE IT ALL, the drawdown will continue until we have ONE lucky winner.
For your convenience, there are several ways to purchase tickets:
- Tickets can be dropped off at any school office or mailed to 701 N. Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Street, Natchez, MS, 39120
- Purchase online at cathedralgreenwave.com by clicking the Donate Now (top of the home page) then clicking the blue button which will direct you to purchase your Cajun Countdown tickets. Please be sure to list the “selling” student’s name in the notes section of your online donation.
Please plan to join us for a night of great food, fun and music! You do not have to be present to win. Take-out plates will be available for $30 until 7:00 p.m.
