Medical School Graduates
Both graduates of Cathedral High School in Natchez, Mississippi, John Barr Biglane and Christopher Lee Martin were among the recent graduates of The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Previously, Dr. Martin had received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Mississippi in Oxford, and Dr. Biglane had received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in English from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. In July, both will begin the intern year of their residencies, Dr. Martin with a Residency in Surgery at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans and Dr. Biglane with a Residency in Internal Medicine at University Medical Center in Jackson. These colleagues are pictured here with their recent brides. On the left with her husband is Elizabeth Duerr Martin, Esquire, a graduate of the University of Mississippi and of Mississippi College School of Law and a member of the law firm of Adams and Reese in Jackson; and on the right with her husband is Paige Henderson Biglane, a graduate of Millsaps College and of the University of Tennessee Master's Program in Public Administration and a second-year law student at Mississippi College School of Law, law-clerking this summer at Jackson's non-profit legal group Mississippi Protection and Advocacy Systems.
